Joel is a first year teacher at WCA and is thrilled to join the WCA family. Growing up in a large Christian family of thirteen in Altus, a small town in southwest Oklahoma, Joel has learned to love God, children, and small communities, all of which makes WCA a perfect fit. His entire homeschool family loves and plays music and Joel has had many opportunities to teach music to his siblings long before he even went to college. Joel's favorite thing to do is spend time with people and help them out in any way he can. He also enjoys spending time with his students helping them learn how to enjoy music. One of the best things about teaching music is the ability to plant the word of God in the hearts and minds of students and having lots of fun while you do it!
